You said they kept his passport, right? You won't interview again I think. Sounds like they are just waiting for documents back to approve the visa,  which will be quick if they kept the passport.

They did keep his passport , but the council told him that his medical records expire in august in not sure what she tried to him by saying that , but yes I hope all this clears soon . Once again thank you for your reply . I started doing all this process on my own I didn't have money to hire a lawyer and this site helped me a lot .

He paid the fine and then the case was dismissed the fine was for damages for the place the incident happened

That is called a plea deal, it wasn't truly dismissed but still not a big deal.

Meaning he should move quickly to get the documents back before that expires so he can be issued his visa

Could they had told him at the interview if they needed a waiver ? I think that was one of the reasons that could had been marked , in case they need a waiver is that a long process ?

When given the 221g form if there was a waiver required would they had marked it there or could they ask for documents and once they have them ask for the waiver ?

If you know you needed a waiver and all they probably should have asked you submit it.

 

If needing extra documents, perhaps could want them first then the waiver.

What kind of cases would a waiver be required after checking documents ? If someone had a extinguished case would hay require a waiver ?
