Hi all,

So I've been patiently waiting for my EAD and AP, but I have/had flights home next week and a new job starting the following week, so I scheduled an infopass appointment to see if I could get some movement going on my case.

At the infopass appointment they didn't really tell me anything other than I should have it soon, the guy was actually really helpful and called the NBC himself, I think at worst it just prompted them to at least look at my case.

This morning I woke up to a notification that my application has been scheduled for interview, for May 23rd!

This is good news, but my question is will they still continue to process my EAD and AP now that my interview has been scheduled?

I need to start my job on the 15th or sooner as I don't think I'll be able to travel home now that my AP hasn't been approved in time.

Should I try and expedit based on my job offer?

If you and your employer can wait another month from today on and you will get approved on point; you won't need your ead/ap and you can use your green card for such things.

So you are still waiting for EAD/AP but have recently been offered/accepted a job offer back in the UK where you want to start May 15th, at the latest?

Sorry, I have job in the USA starting on the 15th, my flights home were return flights for a family event there.
