I filed I-130 in 2015, my wife went for an interview but was denied visa and was returned to NVC, with them it stays with them for almost 1year before they sent it to USCIS, USCIS revoked the decision and require I file I-290b to reopen or an appeal or new form, I got a lawyer who advices that I file I-290b. So I did it has been sitting there for almost 5months, they kept telling me within 30days I will get a status change and this has been happening for three times now. On the 11 of April I checked my online status, there was date changed from previously November 2016 to april 2017 but there was no change in status or status update. Am kind of curious what is going on, to know if I should be expecting any status change or has the case been approved and sent to NVC without status change?
