Reserve Military???

So my husband is in the military, Airforce Reserve, (note not ACTIVE duty), so i am confused as to answer this question on our form I-864 (affidavit of support) which asks the petitioner if:

I am currently on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces

or U.S. Coast Guard. Yes  or No 

 

My husband says to tick yes, not that I am doubting him just wanted to be sure before i send the forms in....

It should be no. He is not active duty, just like National Guard would also put no.

it would be no. if he gets called to activate duty he would then check yes but simply being a member of the airforce reserve does not make him active duty.
