I always enjoyed Kelly. She gave everyone a hard time. A true Middle of  the road  babe

I always saw Oreilly more as an independent than a republican as well, I don't understand why some people see him as far right - he's not.

What about Robert Irvine? Simon Cowell?

(I like them both...no opinion on Ramsey though)

look again

Watched him plenty - he's got many MOR views. Maybe you should look again. Sure he also has some more right leaning views, like the one on drugs which is one of the ones I disagree with him on. But overall alot more balanced than many people you'd find on fox.

He's unabashedly a conservative, without a doubt.

But there's nothing wrong with that. He's at least honest and upfront about his positions, and his show is not a news broadcast, just a televised op-ed program. He paints himself as a logical person, but I'm pretty sure most people believe they are logical regardless of how logical their positions are.

What I would have a problem is the dishonesty of acting like one is merely a news reporter but slanting news as they see fit, like well over 90% of the MSM, which includes Fox News.

What always keeps me from liking O'Reilly was his attacks on anyone who questioned the Iraq War. And he was on the wrong side, clearly.

again with the balance and fair concept...pure marketing drivel.  Everyone has centralist views on some topic.

I once watched Ramsay run past me in a race (huffing and puffing as his wife ran circles around him), stagger into the trees and have a pee in front of on-lookers while my MiL heckled him. Ramsay is a good chef, but he's also a bragging performance artist for TV. But after happening to observe him pee in public I can't look at him the same way again... at least not without giggles.

He wrote in his book the exact same thing I believe in, that the reader might be wondering if he's conservative, liberal, libertarian, or exactly what.... "See, I don't want to fit any of those labels, because I believe that the truth doesn't have labels". Like I always say I call it like I see it, I don't like fitting into a mold. He has said progressive programs to help the poor, fight injustice and give working people a fair shake are all positive. He supports some form of gun control. He supports more government oversight on private insurance and strict guidelines about abusing customers. He supports civil unions and favors adoption by same sex couples. He does not agree with deporting any non-criminal illegal aliens. He has criticized oil companies; he dosen't recognize profit maximization as a virtue. He supports actively working to minimize global warming(and curbing fossil fuel use). And he opposes the death penalty. You wouldn't find hard line right wingers believing in most of those. Most of his other views could be considered more conservative and like I said I don't agree with all of them but I think you have to be in the far left(although I know you personally aren't but generally speaking) in order to consider Oreilly anything but an independent.

I'm not here to support Oreilly, but I'm calling this one like I see it as well. Like I said I think oftentimes he's quite full of himself(lost count of the number of times I've seen or heard him say he "knows he's right cause he's always right") but he has too many views that are not in the far right for me personally to be able to consider him far right.

I can see what you're saying and I wouldn't put him at the "far" right, but for me, what he says he is, and how he publicly expresses his views are two different things. I mean, he could be like those in Congress or conspiracy nuts like Alex Jones just following a gimmick. Either way, that presentation is all that matters to me, I don't care to know the guy personally. I do like your different observation though, shows me there's stuff I haven't seen as well.

I agree. I would never call him a conservative.  I would say he leans to the right.
