Help filling form I-864

Help please!!! My husband is filling AOS for me and he doesn't meet the poverty guideline, we already have his brother as a sponsor, so I am aware the sponsor has to fill form I 864 as the only joint sponsor, so I was just wondering if my husband has to fill the form I-864 too since he's not gonna be the one to sponsor us, I am really confused, i read somewhere on this form where someone said whether the petitioner is acting as the sponsor or not he still has to fill the form I-864 and submit his tax documents (despite the fact that he still didn't meet up with the poverty guideline ) so as to show that he has had a job in the past years.

I am confused please help...

Your husband has to fill out the same form as the sponsor even though he doesn't meet the income requirement. I had to do the same since my income did not meet the requirement.

Exactly as above. Regardless, the petitioner must supply an I-864 with all financial documents.

Ok...thanks, so he has to submit tax returns for the last 3 years right?

Is it necessary to add his recent pay slips?

I just submitted three years tax transcripts (i included my W2's also but I have been with same company for 6 years almost)

 

Just go with the tax transcripts on your end since you will have a co-sponsor anyways.

So on the form I-864 that I fill for husbands brother (acting as our sponsor), there is a question that says

(i) I am the only joint sponsor 

(ii) I am the (a) first (b) second of two joint sponsors.

Please which of the answers apply to my situation, since my husband will be submitting form I-864 too even though he didn't meet the poverty line.

That part you don't have to fill out is only for USCIS.
