hmm.. another question, when we print out the G-325a it prints about 5 of the same pages, each for a different department i guess. but before filling in all those forms (ive had quite a few addresses! :(.. ) id like to know if all pages are needed (and is it so that they are for different departments?)

ta again!

There are 4 pages of G325a and you have to do them all (If you look very closely at the bottom of each page it says the different department that each page has to go to). You can fill out the form on your computer with PDF version that the USCIS offers, and then you really only need to fill it out once and it will copy the information to the other pages. Just make sure it all transfers correctly and that you sign each page.

yes...you need 4 pages of the G-325a for each of you. You can have the computer auto-fill each page, or you can fill it out by hand (what I did when I filed, but using the computer would seem much easier!) ,but as the above poster said, make SURE you sign and date EACH page whichever way you do it. You cannot sign just the top form for each of you.

Good luck with your visa journey! :) M.

Yes, fill out all the 5 forms, write the last 5 addresses and jobs.

If you are able to fill it out online, it will copy the info for you on each sheet, so you only have to do it once.

Figured that out by coincidence. saves a lot of time :P

When there's nothing in the instructions that implies otherwise, why wonder if you have to do what they are telling you to do? They said fill it out, it has 4 pages, so fill out the four pages.

Let the instructions be your friend! Don't make the stuff with clear instructions more difficult by questioning it. Leave those worries for the ambiguous areas!

I disagree, there are few questions on the I-129f or the G-325a or the I-134 that are not amibiguous or open to some interpretation. What's obvious to you may not be obvious to another. The guides on Visa Journey are pretty clear about this one, but the official "instructions" on the G-325a in particular are exceptionally poor.

For a new person to VJ, and who's just starting out the process, there is a LOT of information to digest on this website. Certainly you can relate? Most of this stuff doesn't become entirely clear until after the process has been started and you have been passing time over the long waiting period by answering other people's questions and reading everything on this site.

Anyway, this isn't a flame-- I just don't understand why anyone would discourage a person's questions, even if it *has* been answered a million times in a million different places. If you're unsure about something or need clairification or even reassurance that you are doing everything correctly, ASK AWAY. Even if your question is very simple, you might be provided with supplemental information that you never thought of before.

I apologize for the rant.

I know how you feel cos that is how how I felt when I printed out the G325A on my pc.... I was like what the flip 5 pages.

The first Page is the instructions the other four are the pages you have to fill in.

The others are right if you look at the bottom of each page you will see a number and something written in brackets, thats the only differance of all 4 pages(they all go to differant departments) It is a pain in the butt to fill them in but once it is done and your Petition is on the way you will fell 100% better trust me :)

I don't discourage questions at all. But I do frequently/almost always, encourage additional review of the instructions. You're right that the G-325A instructions are slim, but that's because the form is generic and meant to be used with other forms. The I-129F has other information on how to use it, but doesn't, as I recally, imply that you have to do less than fill out the whole thing.

I read the instructions in an OCD-like fashion, over and over, and I still had questions to bring here.

But re-reading the black-and-white material is always the first move.
