Is anyone filing for a kid abroad? My USC husband is filing for his 5 yr step kid (my daughter). Filed 04/24/2017. We are still waiting too.

For those waiting on adjustment of status for a spouse here's an the timeline of my process which could maybe help you out. My USC husband filed for me in late Sep 2016 , got the work permit in January, the interview in March 2017. Got the approval letter like 6 days after our interview and then the green card literally followed the approval letter the next day.

So guys I called the customer service line and asked for tier 2 officer and told them I was inquiring about my case since its almost six months since I filed.

My receipt date is April 19, 2017

My Priority Date is April 19, 2017

My Notice Date is April 21, 2017

The officer told me that my case is still pending and that Potomac are working on cases for April 20, 2017.  Okay so I'm confused and I should have asked but I didn't I guess when she did not say I'm approved I just wanted to get off the phone :(.  Now I'm wondering are they working on cases with receipt date April 20 or Priority date April 20?  If its by receipt date then they have passed mine. The officer/customer service lady said that she could put in a service request since its a day past but also said its two early and advised I wait a month and if have not heard anything then call back and they will put in a service request. Anyone been told this before? The waiting is so tough...

I think its based off Priority Date. the way they work is so confusing. my PD date is April 24th.  By looking at the USCIS app , I have seen receipt numbers above me and below me got approved with the PD of April 24th but somehow they haven't worked on my case. It is so frustrating.  their customer service is another story. they say things we already know and based their answers off the USCIS Processing times website. they also told me to wait couple of months.

Anything yet??  Had my DNA test at the embassy consulate on 7th which arrived at the lab yesterday. Waiting for the results to be sent to USCIS.. Meanwhile we are sending other documents for bonafide father-child by next week as a result of RFE. Waiting to see how this plays out. Hopefully we get Noa2 soon after everything is set out. Tired of waiting, 7months so far.
