Hi,

I am, in a month or so about to go for my k1 visa interview at the London embassy.  The process seems to have taken a year but almost there.  To cut a long story short I have been booked on a holiday by a friend (within Europe, not to see my fiance in the US) .  Is it ok for me to travel on holiday before I attend my interview?

I ask as I remember there was some information displayed after I scheduled the interview saying that it was not advisable, but, until I go for my interview I have my passport etc. and it isn't anywhere considered dangerous (Greece).  My interview is 3 days after the holiday would end.

I have done everything else and have all my documents so would hate for something to go wrong, but likewise I would feel bad not attending the holiday (even though it was kind of forced on me).

Regards
