After a really hard time having my case completed at and NVC I keep call them to ask them when is my interview date and they tell me   The case is still here when The embassy is scheduled to interview the case will sent to them. Case was completed  since 6 April. Today I called and they said nothing yet there's no interview date yet and then VJ members been saying that the case has to go to the NVC to schedule the appointment and I asked them the case has to go to the NVC to schedule appointments? He said no I don't think so. He went and he asked and he said it looks like ur  case went to Iraq embassy as of today 17 April and then they will contact you for an interview. How many days usually it takes to get to the embassy? Is there a way to track it?  U know I'm so sad because of this issue. Seeing a lot of people getting the interview day. And I don't.

I hope u don't have a worse issue.

for CR-1 interview? Far as I know for any of those, either you set the interview or the embassy will get to you about it. Depends on how the embassy works in that country. Some are quick, some are slower. At this point need to wait I guess.

Do you have your case number from NVC to track it on CEAC?

I do know how to track it on their website but now since it's going to the embassy I don't know how to track it to make sure they have received it I'm wondering if there's a way to track it

Should be searched under "Immigrant" visa type using the case number given from NVC... for Iraq, not sure of the lettering used but should be three letters then like 9 numbers or something.. mine for instance for Philippines was MNL*********** .
