We're filling out the forms to concurrent file the I-130 petition and the I-485 and every guide I'm finding wants us to include a G-325a for the petitioner and some asking for a spouse version as well.

All of this information is included in the current I-130 form or the I-130A form.

You have to submit 3 G-325A forms in total basically.

  1. Form I-130
    1. G-325A of the petitioner
    2. G-325A of the beneficiary
  2. Form I-485
    1. G-325A of the beneficiary

Also hmm. We never submitted a form I-130A - but it looks like we should have? Well the case status says "Case Ready to be Scheduled for Interview" so I assume it's fine?

My bad my bad. I'm obviously not up to date. I was just freaking out about the Form I-130A, and I was sure I had never seen it before. It's new. So I guess you don't need the G-325A for it anymore. I feel like you'd still need it for I-485 though.

Form G-325A, Biographic Information. Form G-325A is no longer required. You do not need to submit a separate Form G-325A with this Form I-485. Parts 1. and 3. of this Form I-485 meet the requirements of 8 CFR 245.3(a)(3)(i) by collecting the biographical information formerly required on Form G-325A. This is what I see in the instructions for I 485

I just realized I did use 1/1/2017 form, which is not the most recent for I 485 and failed to include G 325 for my parents (concurrent filing). What will happen now?

Well it depends on. Some people got their package send back and USCIS requested to submit with the correct updated forms. Some people just got RFIE then they submitted the missing forms etc.  You will just wait and see.
