Good experience in JFK

Hi vj family, 

I arrived US yesterday from Athens. I just want to let members of this great forum know that JFK airport has no problems at all. At first, I didn't want my first port of entry to be JFK because of the scary news I read on the newspapers and on here; most especially  the most recent in which a vj member said her fiance was sent back for telling the officer he is not sure when they will marry. I wasn't asked any question or reminded that I have to marry in 90 days though I believe they could remind people but it's rare to stop k1 or cr1 entry upon arrival. This type of visa is one of the most respected entry visa into the US. That is the best way i discribe it. The officers were nice and handed me my passport immediately she stamped it. 

Secondly you don't need to go through the lines meant for citizens and permenent resident holders as it can take you hours to get through thereby miss your connecting flight. You will go to the sign meant for visitors,  B1 B2, ESTA and other visas. Hand in your package and passport to the officer.

As for preferred airlines,  l will recommend Delta non stop to JFK from your country and not their partners or any other airline; most especially if you are a foreign national residing in your country of resident. They don't interrogate you but check you in with your visa in a polite and very pleasant manner. They are conversant with k1, cr1 visa etc
