I'm the American citizen and my husband and I will be interviewed soon for my husband's Adjustment of Status. I don't have my birth certificate but I have a current passport and ID. Is that enough info for the USCIS? We have all other info they require.

When is gonna be your interview for aos? Can you request a copy of your birth certificate? I think I sent my husband 's copy of his birth certificate for aos but probably you would be fine with the passport only.

It's this week, and the only way I can request it is thru the mail  that's what I get for assuming I'm organized and ready for this, haha. A lot of people have said before that a passport should be fine but I am still nervous.

Read the AOS guides. Download the forms from the uscis website to have the latest one.

Then go for it! And if the worse, they will put it on hold until you get your copy of birth certificate. I think you will be fine.

You want to start requesting it just in case. Let us know how that went!
