would you say that you coming up against a UFC fighter would be legit and if he sucker punched you then we should all applaud that too? UFC fighter double the size of you and an obviously trained athlete. You wouldn't catch me stating that it's ok to be hit in that scenario yet you are happy to stand behind this guy with all his bravery.

I certainly do not advocate violence against women, but this immediate victim status given this woman is amazing.  Yes, the video looked bad, but we know nothing of the preceding events.  For all we know she kicked him in the balls before the punch.  The point is we weren't there, and making this woman an immediate victim is akin to the Michael Brown story.

That was my point regarding the Michael Brown reference.  Many people jumped to conclusions based on minimal facts.  It has nothing to do with taking the high road, it's called being smart.

I would assess the facts of the situation and then reevaluate my opinion accordingly. But I have told my oldest daughter that there is no privilege anymore, you will get the respect you deserve. If you act out and start fights, don't get mad when people fight back. But if my family did not start or escalate the fight and the guy just goes off and hits her for no reason then yes there is a problem. 

 

But the main problem I see nowadays with us Millenials is that women think that it's ok to haul off and it someone wither that's a guy or a girl. But when that guy she just hit actually hits back then she gets offended that he hit her. I have seen numerous videos of this happening. Sorry you get what you give.
