yes, i'm sure many people go to riots and hold empty wine bottles by the neck..........

When did she start holding it by the neck?

As I've already questioned, it is not clear if she came to the riot with the bottle, or if it was acquired after the violence started. As eieio has mentioned, it was "basically war". In that scenario you may want to find something to protect yourself.

I have still not seen any video/photo of her INITIATING an assault with the wine bottle. The video I chose to find and post seems to show the fighting already taking place, so it isn't clear who started it.

A tough nazi got beat up by a girl, and it was caught on camera. How worse can it get?

i'd guess she was holding it by the neck before she got her bingo card punched.
common sense tells me that if it is "basically war" and then it's time to withdraw - that's the best protection.
holding a bottle by the neck makes it easier to throw - or swat someone over the head with.

Dude, seriously the length you are going to try and defend moldylocks is astonishing to say the least. You can clearly see in that one photograph that she is holding the wine bottle by the neck of the bottle. You never hold the wine bottle like that unless you are trying to throw it or hit someone with it. I would have hit her too in that melee because YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT MIGHT HAPPEN. She may hit me with it while my back is turned and then I will be down for the count in the middle of that mess. Sorry but you don't bring glass bottles to a "peaceful protest" they were there to start a riot or a fight plain and simple.

I completely agree with what is in bold.

The video clearly shows that after the first altercation between the woman and the blue-shirted man, they were separated by a crowd.

The man than sought her out. - He should have withdrawn. He was clearly moving back towards her with the intention of attacking her. Her could have turned around.

Don't know how I can write any clearer to help you understand, I'm sorry.

How do you know she BROUGHT the wine bottle? How do you know it was with her from the beginning? It could have just as easily been picked up after the fighting broke out, as a form of "self defense" since people were using all manner of items as weapons.

Who knows why he sought her out, but it may be because she threw a wine bottle at him and now he is pissed.

Similar to how a group of men who believe you can't rape a woman if she "agrees" to sex through threats of violence/intimidation and/or drugs/alcohol would support Trump?

That might be the most preposterous thing you ever said . I dont know anyone that thinks such an a absurd thing

Except the photo that has been posted clearly shows it was never thrown at him. She was still holding it when he punched her the first time.

Ok, YOU DO NOT BRANDISH A WINE BOTTLE IN A FIGHT plain and simple. The reason why you don't do that is because it then ratchets up the escalation factor and could have lead to increased violence on both sides. That's the same reason why you don't just automatically bring out a gun/knife in a altercation because it ratchets up the escalation factor and the risk of someone getting significantly hurt by 10x.

There has already been a discussion on this forum (different thread) about what the word "let" means and doesn't mean. Women "let" men have sex with them when the man holds a gun to their head and demands it.

This is off topic though.
