I would agree that it does not matter which side committed violence, they deserve arrest regardless.

This thread is not about Turkey, of which situation I am well aware of. This thread is about a group of neo-Nazi Trump supporters, regular Trump supporter 'demonstrators', and a group of 'protestors' getting in a brawl because the neo-Nazis got their feel feels hurts.

Did the neo-Nazi who repeatedly has harassed individuals, called for all out revolt, and punched the woman in the face get arrested? They call for violent acts all the time and show up to such rallies to stir up trouble among the supposed Trump supporters... and yet it's almost like people seem to revel in the fact when such brawls start...

All that aside it really was pandemonium in terms of the law enforcement. I am still shaking my head at what they allowed to take off. There were explosives going off, windows being smashed (one ANTIFA guy had was bodyslammed into a car window), people having the utter #### kicked out of them and people being trampled in an American city. It was total chaos. 

Think "Battle of the " from the Game of Thrones episode where there was a huge mob of people all coming together - that was it (far less people of course). They charged in, ran into bodies much stronger than theirs, and they collapsed only to be completely demolished in the melee. Then they started trying some hilarious hit and run tactics but, apparently, forgot they aren't athletic and were up against athletic people so were ran down in the streets. Law enforcement did nothing. That is an anarchist town in an anarchist area that needs immediate overwatch because that is a breeding ground for those America hating ###s. They certainly got a message yesterday but as one of my friends said "they know they can't compete with us so they are going to start using real weapons soon I fear". I agree with him. They need a serious lockdown on them now before they escalate because those people… #### man if only you saw them... they are the lowest of the low of humanity. Total dregs of society who only want chaos.

 

Sounds like the Nazis attacked the Trump supporters and then the Trumpers basically fought back and beat the Nazis down….in a bad way.  So my guess is plenty on both sides were arrested.

We keep hearing from the Left likening Trump to Hitler, so I thought I would inject a real event that is more appropriate.  As to these protesters clashing, let them do it s it appears to be what they want.  Just as the Left cannot be fully defined by the idiot property destroying and violent protesters on their side, the Right is not defined by the idiots on their side.  The real big difference in my opinion, is that most on the Right marginalized and speak against the idiots on their side, but I don't see as much condemnation of the Leftist idiots from their side.  In fact it seems the political party most associated with the Leftist views welcome the violent protests from their side.

With sincerity I don't see too many Trump supporters actively denouncing or casting out neo-Nazi's and their various other types of hanger-ons from these 'rallies'... that includes some commentators in various types of these threads which invariably decide to omit commenting on the wrongness of these individuals and their violent acts that stir the pot. It's your opinion that the 'left' doesn't denounce violence on their side when it happens, so I hope you can also understand that from the other side it appears that the right does nothing either.

Yeah, haven't seen such outrage when it was people on the left doing the punching, in fact it's condoned by some. The issue with some on the left, is they like to engage in what I call the "thought police", and all measures are kosher in order to accomplish their mission, including violent protests and insulting and shaming anybody who thinks other than them, talking over people on the right whenever they think they are caught or trying to make a point, without listening. Sure it can be applied to both sides but we've seen many more examples(and many more people that had no issue with said examples) from the left in recent months and years. They don't wanna win the debate, they want to cancel the debate. They're not actually very good at debating aside from those jingles they shout when confronted by a speaker whose arguments they can't counter.

 

Increasingly especially among young they don't even philosophically believe in free speech - they believe there is a correct position on certain issues whether abortion, gays, transgender bathrooms, climate change, Islam and the list gets longer and longer and they have less and less even a theoretical commitment to free speech or diversity of views. They celebrate every diversity except for the one that matters which is the diversity of thought and dialogue.

And you don't think the right haven't been pulling that for years? No offense OriZ, but it's been this way on both sides since before I was born. The right believe they have the correct position on abortion, our sex lives, to love whom we want, be whom we want, immigration, economic issues, religion, freedom of speech.. etc... The conservatives of old are way past where they once were. I do not think any of the individuals at that rally, and many of these rallies want to debate. They have always seen it as a 'life or death' sort of eternal struggle, where they must silence any and all dissent. For years they aligned themselves with various shades of crazy, and why? Why did Trump and other politicians entertain these sorts of people? Nor even barely denounce them? Were their votes that important?

Like I said both sides are guilty, but my personal impression(and it's not the first time in this forum that I voice my opinion on that and we've also seen and shown many examples) is that especially these days, you see it coming from the left much more often than you do the right. It doesn't offend me since I don't see myself as neither left or right, I just call it like I see it. How many violent protests have you seen coming from the right in college campuses to prevent a leftist from speaking? I mean even in this very forum we've had debates here where the MDL tries to tell us there's just one way to see it, one truth, nothing else. I have not seen anyone on the MDR here try to say that, or at least not nearly as often. My perception is most people on the right realize and recognize that everyone has different views and is entitled to them. The majority on the left does as well, but again, I think they are becoming increasingly intolerant to differing views, much more than the right. Again it's just my opinion and you're free to disagree of course!(see what I did there? ).
