You don't need to be left or right to be offended by the hatred that was on display in Berkeley.  It is just a bad scene and had nothing really to do the Tax Day protests or Pro Trump support.  If Trump supporters don't want to disassociate from these groups then so be it.

Of course why concern yourself with such an association when it's going to bring in votes.

You should concern yourself as to why they do support a particular candidate. It does speak for the kind of rhetoric being voiced at rallies that this group aligns themselves with you. The views of Trump with the tough talk in some ways did speak to this group, giving them a sense of hope that their ideas (on the very far right of the spectrum) have a mainstream platform.

 

You need to take positive action against it.

If you have sh*t on the underside of your shoe, you wouldn't just carry on walking and not concerning yourself about why it's there, You would however wipe, scrub and wash away the dirt as best you can.

In a similar way we witnessed the Republican ticket pretend nothing was on the bottom of their shoes.

If she didn't vociferously state that she was against everything they stood for and the ideology was abhorrent then yes she is no better than Trump in that regard. They stood with her for a reason as they affiliated with her on some idea.

It's prominent with small businesses in the US. In Canada Friday is a Stat holiday and companies tend to give Mondays off as well. Sometimes one can pick which is which.

How many votes did the KKK bring in? 

 

And someone as popular as Trump, to disavow every group that supports him the left or anyone else think matters.. that would be a pointlessly exhausting effort, never mind giving them undeserved attention (see WBC). Now if Trump were victimizing these groups like Hillary did to Muslims, that would be quite a different story.
