travel ouside US with expired green card.

Hello. i have some question. anyone has experience. i want to go out of USA for a month in 15 May. my i 797 letter date is 6,6 2016. expired green card is 7.26 2016. can i get a i 155 stamp now. i looked at the online why there is no appointment available always. Thanks

Timeline

You will be fine.  Just enter the US before 7.26.2017.  The expiration date on the letter does not matter.  It's the expiration date on your green card that matters.  Be prepared to go to secondary - not because you are in trouble, but because many airports are automatically sending people with expired green cards/extension letters to secondary to double check.
