When I was reading about how much I need to make I saw it's 125% of the poverty line for your household size. There are 3 people that live in my household, including me. So I thought I had to make 125% of the poverty line for 3 people, which I do.  But on the I-34 Affidavit it doesn't ask for my household size, just dependents. Now I dont pay for any of my grandmas or brothers stuff so they aren't dependents to me, correct? Do I list them or leave them off since I dont support them financially in any way.

However I do have a son, but he lives with his mother and I pay child support, so do I just list him as a partial dependent? I do get him on the weekends when he has no school so partial dependent seems correct.

Lastly, there is a portion where I fill out my finances. It asks me two things I'm curious about. One part is my balance of all my savings and checkings accounts, this is fairly low because I'm just not a saver. I get my money and I use it as I need it on bills. It also asks about value of my other personal property, which i dont quite understand, i own household items and a car. Do i value those and put that there?

The other part is 'I have mortgages or other debts amounting to' I have no mortgage since I live with my grandma. I pay no bills for living here, The only bills I pay are my car (different to the car I own) and insurance. Do I just put my loan from the bank on my car?

These last two points however are located in the 'Real estate information' So I'm not even sure I have to fill it out.

This is all very confusing to me and I'm in a rush to do it now since we just got approved and I've read it's best to do all this asap. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

For the i-134 you need to meet 100% not 125% of the povert line.

You list all children even if they don't live with you.

You don't list ppl that live with you that you don't claim on your taxes as dependents.

Financial information other than that you are using to meet the 100% requirements you don't need to list. If your w2 shows that you meet this without any other assets then it is all you need.

With that said, do look at your local embassy requirements. There are a few exceptions that require 125%.

So list my son on there as partially dependent? or completely dependent?

So you're saying I dont need a co signer if I make more than enough? Because I make 40k a year USD which is more than enough for the 1 dependent i have, my son. I've read it's 'frowned upon' in a sense to have a co signer, but it's better to have and not need, than need and not have.

I don't mean to be repetitive I just want to file this right. Were nearing the end and it's almost time for the wait to be over. Just want to do everything right.

If you alone make more than 100% of the poverty line (providing your embassy is not one of the exceptions) you only need to state and provide evidence of that income. Your son would be a complete dependent so you'd have to make enough for 3- You, your son and the fiancé. If you make 40k (and have pay stubs/employer letter, 1040 and w2 to show it) you definitely do not need a co-sponsor. It is not a matter of being "frowned upon" or not. You meet the requirements or you don't. Some embassies don't accept co-sponsors for the i-134 - as local policy, not as a judgement on anything or anyone.

That said, what you might have read is for people who are unsure if they meet the requirements or not. For example if they have only been at the current job for a short time, or just got a pay raise. In those cases the income history might be "borderline", and as such up to the discretion of the IO.

That was going to be my next question. I left my last job, where is was making similar money, to go to this one. Both jobs I was making over the needed income but I've only been employed at my current one since the 27th of last month. Or that was my start date rather, I accepted the position 3 weeks prior or so.

So on the I-134 I list my fiance and my son (who i pay child support on and he stays with me on the weekends, not sure I mentioned the child support so I my as well now) as dependents.

I dont have a W2 for my current job as I only started working there a month ago, I do however have a W2 from my old job. So do I bother sending that in as it doesn't particularly pertain to the case anymore?

Given what you've said I think it's best to have a co signer in my case as I've switched job. Which I read was ok to do as long as you continued to make enough money.

Clarification: job switch that meant an increase in pay. I would send all documents for old and new employement that you have. No you do not need a co-sponsor.. your history,  your current and your future financials all support you making enough.

It's you're journey to make as you see fit, but I see no reason to involve a co-sponsor.
