I-130 Question (Adjustment of Status question set)

Hello All,

The latest form I used from here: https://www.uscis.gov/i-130

I am a US citizen, I have a permanent address in USA.  And I got recently married (outside USA) to another national.  

I am back in USA and filling out the latest version of I-130 to file petition for my foreign wife, who is in her own country of residence, currently.

1-130 form where there is this section below >>

 

The beneficiary is in United States and will apply for adjustment of status to that of a lawful permanent resident at the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) office in:

61.a. city or town ::

61.b. State ::

 

The beneficiary will not apply for adjustment of status in the United States, but he or she will apply for an immigrant visa aboard at the U.S. Embassy or U.S. Consulate in

62.a. City or Town::

62.b. Province::

62.c. Country::

 

Which section applies to me? I am confused and I don’t want to fill it incorrectly.

I am a US citizen, living in US currently and want to file 1-130 for my foreign wife, who is not in USA at this moment.

She is abroad, so she will interview at the embassy or consulate abroad. She is going for a CR-1 visa, not AOS. As such, questions 62.a-62.c apply to you.
