Please can anyone give me an average time it takes to hear from USCIS, when a case of AOS is sent there? I noticed they do not have a processing time for AOS from K1 on the uscis website. It was sent to chicago for for a month now and we didnt hear from them, if they got it or not. any help please.

You haven't received any NOA1s for either any of the documents?

Did they cash your check/money order? Did you send everything properly with correct payment fee?

Can take anywhere from 4 to 6 months or more. Depends on the case.

1) Do you have a receipt for delivery of the package? What date was the package received on?

2) Have you confirmed whether or not the check/money order was cashed?

Those are the two most important things to be looking at, at the moment. From date of receipt to NOA1 it can take up to 1 month. IF you have confirmation the package was delivered and nothing has happened after 1 month, you can contact USCIS to see what's going on. After the NOA1, it can take several months for it to be approved.

The K1 journey:                                                                                                                             The AOS journey:

11/09/2013 - I-129F Packet mailed to Dallas Lockbox                                                                                         06/22/2015 - AOS packet mailed to Chicago Lockbox

02/14/2014 - Case shipped to Embassy, where it waited for over a year at my request                                 11/07/2015 - AOS approved (EAD and AP had already been approved) - there was no interview

05/21/2015 - Interview - Approved

06/19/2015 - Wedding (L)

The ROC journey:

10/12/2017 - ROC packet mailed to VSC

01/21/2019 - ROC Approved - there was no interview

The N-400 journey:

02/16/2020 - N-400 application filed online

02/21/2020 - Paper NOA received in the mail

03/13/2020 - Biometrics

02/02/2021 - Interview & test - Approved

02/05/2021 - Oath Ceremony

Did you get the I-485  an I-765  NOA1 receipt? if yes,  you can visit there website https://www.uscis.gov/  using the receipt number for your status. It takes 30 days for me to do biometrics. I checked my case and they schedule me for interview, am just waiting to receive my paper when will be the date . Goodluck
