Hi I am under removal proceeding from my asylum application and got married in June last year. Have applied for my I130 and received NOA1 on 11/17/16. Now awaiting NOA2 or interview date. Are these the next steps or am I missing something here.

 

Both me and my spouse are here in US, she is a citizen. We are awaiting an interview date from Nebraska Service center.

 

Anyone in similar situation?

Hi did you filed your adjustment of status i485 , you just mention I 130 , I'm not sure how it works when you have a removal proceeding but if you want to become a permanent resident you need to file your i485 + i130 package

You can't concurrently file while in removal proceedings.

You're right, I have just filled for I130 for now. Is there a way to track the progress of applications here on VJ? NEBRASKA is notoriously slow and USCIS doesn't help at all.

I'm doing a K-1 (fiance) visa, with the approved I-129F arriving at the embassy later today.
