AOS ( Is it unusual)

My husband sent his AOS (k1) package last week USCIS received on Wed the 5th as of yet we have not heard nor have they cashed our check. I spoke with USCIS they said give it at lease 10 Days and if we have not heard anything to give them a call. I am so worried because it seems as though everyone here has gotten an NOA in a few days. 

 

Is this unusual?

Not at all can take up to 30 days there have been a lot of threads recent with the same so seems like they are slowing a bit down on NOA1. No reason to call them.

 People cause their own fears over nothing. Relax, takes time. Sometimes up to 3-4 weeks to hear back with NOA1.

NOA1 for the AOS submission takes much longer then NOA1 for the K1 submissions do.  It only takes a day or 2 from when the K1 application is recieved, it takes several weeks from when the AOS application is recieved before you'll get NOA.  Ours was 18 days.  I'd be surprised if you actually got it in under 10 days.

I got my NOA1 after like 3 weeks or so.  It takes a little while longer, on this go around.
