Interview delayed

I need to be clear on my wording of this question. I do not want my interview to be delayed. A family member wondered if I might have to stay a few days if my appointment gets bumped due to delays or something. Does that happen? Or is my appointment definitely going to happen on the scheduled day?

I have read nothing about any Canadian K1 Visa interviews in Montreal being cancelled or moved to a different date.   Being that Canadian K1 Visa interviews are only conducted in one city and only on Wednesdays, I highly doubt once you schedule your appointment the consulate will move it to another day on a whim.   

 

I'm sure anything can happen, but, I've read many cases on VJ where the fiance flew into Montreal in the morning, had their interview in the afternoon, then flew home in the evening.

Where did you read that they are only on wednesdays? Did I miss something ELSE?

You must be viewing VJ on a cell phone.  If you view this website on a computer or laptop, you will be able to read member's signatures and see visuals.  On my signature, I've written in detail my fiancé and my K1 Visa experience.  My fiancé is from Vancouver BC, and our interview is next week.  We scheduled our interview about a month ago, and the only days available for interview were Weds.  We had the option to schedule as soon at 3 weeks, or as far out as 1.5 months.  All on Weds.
