Hi everyone -

I was wondering if someone who has walked through the K1 process with a Mexican fiance could give me some expectations for the next 5 months as we prepare to get married.

1. We have received our first NOA (3/27) and are now awaiting the second one.

2. My fiance travels back and forth from the US on a B1 currently - when he has vacation he comes to visit. Would it be worth it to get the medical exam here when he's here next? The form is available on the USCIS website.

3. The mail system is terrible in Mexico. Is it worth just going to the Consulate for a copy of the packet rather than waiting for receiving it in the mail?

4. Should we go ahead and get his police report done and translated as well as getting his inoculations up to US standard?

I'd just like a really clear step-by-step sense of what I should be on top of/what I can be doing in the mean time.

Thanks so much <3
