Hey guys I submitted my I-485 application to Chicago lock box.

Mailed: March 29, 2017

Delivered: March 31, 2017

I am yet to receive a response from them. Hope everything is ok. Do u guys think it's too early to call?

Another thing is that I think I overpaid them cause I also filed I-765 & I also paid that fee as well. Do they normally reject the application if the fee is over or they will send back a check with the extra amount.  Please let me know guys. Trying to stay positive but the process can be stressing.

thanks.

What did you pay?

As far as I know they will reject it without proper payment. They won't send back the extra or ask for the amount still needed.

As to like NOA1s and all, can take some time. Ours took about 10-11 days.

USCIS got back to me after 21 days.

You have to be patient. They will get back to you soon.

If you file for I-485 then you don't have to pay for the I-765 and I-131 ($,1225 including the $85 biometrics fee).

Thanks guys.

I really over paid  them then. Here are the forms I filed & the fee I for the adjustment of status.

I-130- $535, I-485 - $1140, I-765-$410+85 for biometric & I-131-$575 that's a total of $2745

my mistake is that i paid for two forms I shouldn't have. The I-765 & the I-131. Wow they might definitely reject. Wish I had done some proper research before.

Yes, I-765 and I-131 are free when filed with I-485. Total for those with biometrics is only $1225.

They most likely will simply reject it and send it back to you, Just change the payment amount and resend it all.
