Hi guys!

Well my wife is filling the affidavit of support today but she's not gonna be able to sponsor me alone so we decide to look for a co-sponsor or joint sponsor(I don't know exactly how it is) so her cousin is helping us with that but I have a question. My wife(the petitioner) needs to fill out affidavit of support and her cousin too? or just her cousin?

And in the form i-864(affidavit) where they ask about "Number of support of affidavits in file" Do we need to put 1 or 2? I'm so confused right now. :/

Hope somebody here understand what I'm talking about. I really appreciate your help and your replys.

(sorry for my english it's no my main language)

Ummm... your screen shot answers the question about 1 or 2...

Left side even says "For USCIS Use Only"... you do not fill anything in on that section.

And yes, both wife and cousin need to submit an I-864 form and documents.

Your wife files an I-864 as the petitioner/sponsor.

Her cousin files her own I-864 as the Joint Sponsor.

You do not mark 1 or 2 since the space is reserved "For USCIS Use Only."  You do not mark anything in the boxes that you posted above  You leave it empty for USCIS to use.
