As usual, there are quite a few funny things that Trump said/did.

I loved his hand gestures when he was describing "the most beautiful chocolate cake". At one point it looked like he was trying to claim it was a foot tall with the distance he created between his hands.

He had just said the word Iraq in the prior sentence, and then swapped Syria with Iraq in the subsequent sentence. Most people are able to move from one thought to a different one quite cleanly. When you "accidentally" include prior thoughts in place of current ones medically you would call it "perseveration". If it is a consistent problem, it can be a sign of a neurologic or psychologic disorder.

Maybe he was tired from visiting all 57 states

Given the fact that he was talking about firing missiles at a country, I would hope that as President he would be able to provide accurate information no matter how tired he was.

He wasn't misspeaking about an order at KFC. He was talking about attacking another country. Being tired is part of the job description and isn't an excuse. He needs to actually think before he speaks.

He was probably too busy thinking about ways he could inflate what he was saying and his ego. Maybe he was thinking that he should have gestured that the chocolate cake was actually 2 feet tall instead, since it would have been even more impressive and "huge". He was probably regreting not saying it was "the greatest chocolate cake man has ever tasted" and since he was so focused on cake he forgot whether he attacked Iraq or Syria.

While I admire him a little for liking to speak "off the cuff" and "unprepared", it only really works if you can do so accurately. He has proven quite consistently that he can't. He needs to stick to a script or have someone else speak for him.

Jesus.. shouldn't have read any of this wall of text before watching the video... how to turn a non event into apocalypse. Soap opera stuff.

Who said apocalypse either then you?

Way to be very sensitive about it i guess. I find it funny, I laugh at him. I think he shouldn't keep speaking and tweeting publicly if he can't get information right.

I'm not calling for impeachment, the sky isn't falling etc... I am being critical because he is President and we should be critical of what a President says.

Responding and assuming it's the apocalypse is actually more reflective on you than me.

Unless you're a writer for Huff Post its not normal to embellish such a trivial thing with this kind of a wall of text. Just saying. You're free to believe this is a huge deal, I on the other hand think this is laughable.

The only person thinking this is a "huge deal" is you.

I posted it, and I got a laugh out of it. I won't apologize for the "length" of my posts. I type quite fast and I am a wordy individual. My posts still only take me 30-45 seconds. My "shorter" posts tend to be from my phone. I tend to write at length, but length doesn't correlate to "seriousness" of the issue necessarily.

As I said, he shouldn't be impeached for this. However I still find it easy to make fun at him from the video. This isn't the first video either, it is a clear trend. Continuing to point out the trend entertains me. The only person who seems to be getting upset is you.

EDIT:
Also if you want an example of something that is laughable - Calling 9 or 10 sentences a "wall of text". Maybe you don't do a lot of reading in your life, but in no way is 1-2 paragraphs a "wall of text" in my world.

actually a lot of people are talking about this interview, so i hear. apparently trump doesn't make much sense ( feel like this is normal trump), skipping from subject to subject (again, normal trump) and this is how he confused syria/iraq..skipping all over the place.

i don't think this particular interview is a huge deal, but i think it's definitely a huge deal that trump is considered competent for the office of presidency. i can barely read this, it's just, so so bad. terrible. horrible..but that cake sounds absolutely delicious!

I wouldn't be able to interview him with a straight face. I'd be sitting there thinking "Why the heck is he making such a big deal about the chocolate cake?".

A lot of times he is jumping around because it seems like he goes out of his way to mention things that he can use as an example of how amazing he is, or the US is, or how much power he has. Even when no one asks, he wants to bring it up.

I'm all for being gung ho pro-America but once again, it only works when you don't make an a** of yourself. We as a country end up looking worse off when you can't keep two middle eastern countries that we have bombed and/or invaded straight. Especially when referencing a bombing that was less than a week ago. It makes me embarassed to have him as America's representative.

yeah i'm not a big fan of the whole 'mission accomplished' approach. i think americans often forget how young we are, we're too full of ourselves. might aint always right.

i will stay embarrassed of trump as a president until he's replaced with someone who values the written word over cable news.
