Can I file no-fault divorce when my vawa case is in process

Hey everyone here , I'm new to this forum . I apply vawa oct2016 and get my EAD dec2016 . My question is can I file no fault divorce even I apply for vawa under mental abuse

why would you file for no fault if your trying to claim your spouse mentally abused you? don't answer it just think about it. you can file for divorce any way you want but it may look bad if your telling uscis you were abused and deserve a green card but then tell the courts meh it didn't work out no harm no foul let's get on with life.

Vawa petitioners can divorce  on no fault ground, and there is no negative repercution in the VAWA case.
