That's a pretty big hurtle to over-come, the interview in a middle eastern country. Congratulations. Your next biggie will be the AOS. Good luck

Thanks. I'm not clear as to why the interview will be such a big deal. This is a completely legitimate marriage so any question they ask my fiancee about me will be hit out of the park. I guess security checks will take some time... my hope is that a 24 year old girl will not require as extensive a check (wishful thinking perhaps).

Congrats on getting this far! The women we've seen coming through the Middle Eastern countries have not had to wait for a security check (although there haven't been all that many of them to begin with). Don't get too relaxed about proving your relationship status; I know that YOU know it's legit, but plenty of legitimate relationships have had their applications sent back to the US for reconsideration. You've still got to be very prepared with all your evidence. And as someone in the Middle East thread suggested, you might check the European thread for others' experiences in Turkey.

Thanks for the advice. I'm definitely NOT relaxed, ha ha. Are there any posts here outlining types of questions typically asked during the interview. BTW, I will not be with my fiancee during her interview. I guess I could only be moral support as they will not question me.

Does that depend on the country where your fiance is from or the service center where you filed the documents??
