Even if she's real and not a scammer (though she is), based on her response it's obvious that she's more interested in coming to the US rather than seeing you. Firstly, she wouldve done everything to videocall you, secondly is, she can agree to meet you first somewhere else and lastly, she doesn't love you. Even if those photos are real, deep inside, she's fake. Don't get carried away with emotions. Please.

Sorry to ask, maybe you already answered this but is there a big age difference between you two?

By those pictures, it seems to me you are into a scam. The typical russian scam.

Any site that requires you to buy credits, pay per letter, pay for chatting is a scam. Or any sort of agency that want to be a liaison between you and the girl IS an SCAM.

Let's be realistic, this girl (if she is real) is a model basically. She is just trying to ... Or get money from you, vacations for free, or is being used without her knowing (using her pictures) or desperately trying to go to U.S. You DON'T know if they will make you pay for her visa and then she will never fly to see you. And by the way, how in this world can you pay for someone else's visa? For someone you don't even know for real. She has to apply for herself! And pay her visa from her OWN pocket!

When I met my husband online, he came to meet me to Argentina a couple times and we took it from there but we were friends for a few years before that. I never asked him for money for anything. I would never ask a guy for money to pay my bills or get me a visa. If she starts asking you for money now without knowing you in person, what will you expect when you guys actually meet?

Sorry to say, but her pictures remind me of those pictures that those russian dating agencies/websites use to attract middle age "well-to-do" men and these agencies charge money /credits to the website users (mostly american/european men) for them to chat/video chat, phone these ladies. All is done through their website/agency. And these ladies excuses is that they prefer to do this through the agency. This is all a big scam to get money and men fall for this over and over again! Many times the lady is not the one doing the chat, etc. It's a "translator" behind doing the job and they use these ladies pictures as a facade.

You can always try to see if her name appears on this scammer list.

I'm sure this has been asked a million times but I haven't seen a response to my question or at least to the question like this. I have been talking to a lady from Ukraine for about 3 months or so. We have talked marriage but nothing specific. She and I have agreed we need to meet and see how things are between us before getting to that point. Here's my concern, she very much wants to meet me in the USA. She lives in the Donetsk region where proxy war has been waging - in fact, she lives approximately 25 km from the front line. I would love to meet her. But my concern is a few things that makes we cautious. I have said that I will travel to Kiev and we can take a vacation somewhere local or outside of Ukraine. She insists wants to visit the USA since she would be changing her life forever, she wants to know she would like it here to move to the USA. I understand this desire. But I have only spoken to her, e-mailed, and received videos and photos. I should say she is absolutely stunning; there are many beautiful Ukrainian ladies so I do not see this as an immediate sign of scam. I visited Kiev about 10 years ago for business and saw a tremendous amount of beautiful ladies. I do know the photos and videos are all the same lady and they are taken in all kinds of environments and any specific photos I request, she sends - nothing graphic. My concerns are a few things, 1) we have never video communicated so I have NO assurance that the person in the videos and photos are the same voice as I talk to over the phone 2) she seems really insistent to come to the USA for the visit with me paying the cost of the visa and airline ticket 3) many sites say that there's a lot of scammers in this area 4) I can't be sure if the travel agency is real or not - and if real if they are on a cut of the scam 5) the cost at the travel agency seems strange to me claiming they can get her a travel visa in 10 working days for a 90 day visa $300 and a 3 year visa $450 with no visits to the embassy required with appropriate documents from her and the airline prices seem incredibly low 6) her cell number has changed 3 times in 3 months 7) and her old email address was searched many times on a anti-scammer website.

I do have some of her responses to these questions concerns. I will list what she has said 1) she claims the internet speeds and cell data rates are too bad to really video call; I somewhat believe this as even a simple cell call gets dropped regularly and the successful calls are riddled with audio dropping in and out 2) she states she is the one that would be moving to another country and she would like to see the world she is moving into and the life I live to see if we are a fit and also she says she would love to invite me to see her in her city but she fears for my safety as it is dangerous for Ukrainian citizens and foreigners in the Donetsk area would definitely be in danger for at least robbery; she says her urgency is she has to work around her company's vacation schedule and does not want to loose the opportunity 3) No answer to this other than to say she is serious and wants to leave because there's no future here with war 4) She just says I can work directly with the travel agency and send the funds to them and not her; the travel agent lists themselves as "caviar travel" but I can not find any real website or anything regarding Caviar Travel or a way to determine if this is a real agency or what; the address is legitimate but that's all I know 5) from everything I read, it is nearly impossible for a single young Ukrainian lady to get a visitors visa but the agency claims they can get her one in 10 working days, the cost I have seen online for the visa application is $160 but I'm not sure if the other processing cost are to get things to move quickly also I have not seen a 90 day versus 3 year visa; and the airline ticket rates are low for me to fly to Kiev is a minimum of $1100 US the agent claims she can get ticket from Kiev to Nashville for $824 6) she claims it is common to change cell numbers in Ukraine as it is often times cheaper for rates - I have no idea as this is totally different than the USA 7) she says she was shocked to see her email address and photos (2 photos) posted on an anti-scam website; she said she never lied to me and was actively looking and communicating with different men from marriage site but she claims she never moved beyond the first 3 e-mails except me.

I know I wrote a lot but I'm really torn. I don't want to be scammed but she seems very real on our calls and in e-mails but there's some red flags. I have searched a lot on information and I just can't seem to figure out if I trust that she is acting normal especially living in an area with war. I know scammers come in all shapes and sizes from organized to individual. I also know that one decent score for a scammer in a poor country can be months worth of income. Having said that, I do really like the person I think I have met.

Could someone please share their thoughts. I just don't want to be missing the obvious sign of scam which right now seems to be the 10 day visa? That seems unrealistic but I do know that in some cases travel agencies can do things quicker. Oh last point, she has never traveled outside of Ukraine.

Thanks for your time and hopefully your thoughts.

don't do it. her story does not add up sorry.
the main requirement for even getting a B2 visitors visa, is that you ahve mony to spent. if you cnat pay for your trip and visa youslf you will be denied the visa. yuo need to state your income before the interview, and if you dont make a good amounth of mony , they have no interest in giving you a visa.
So even if she has good intent, tehre is no point in her even aplaying for the visa if she needs you to pay.

One a different note, you seem like a really sweet, smart and warm stable guy. If you want to believe this woman becasue you want someone to share your life. you should just get out there. Internet dating is the new age and very acceptable now. Maybe start with some woman that already live in the US :P go to some of those mixer nights. you wont meat a lot of woman when you work oin IT sadly. But im shure if woman kne you were out there you have no problem finding one that is not a scammer.

Of course, Mr.Marian, we will do our best to make the flight for your Lady as soon as possible after her interview. Your Lady was visiting us yesterday and I provided to her the information about the documents which she needs for starting the process of making international passport and visa.
So, for making the payment you will need the following information:

And also the first email.It s no doubt is the same person.

Hello Mr.Marian,
Sir, my name is Ekaterina. Thank you for contacting our agency and choosing our services. We are glad to help you with organization of the trip for your Lady.
Sir, for making a trip to Denmark for your Lady it is necessary to prepare the next package of documents:
1) International biometric passport, Sir, if your Lady has international passport of old type without biometric data it will be necessary to make a new one because old type passport is invalid for applying for visa to EU.
An international biometric passport can be done in a quick way and it can be ready in 3-5 days. The cost is 150$.
2) Visa
Mr. Marian, we can propose you to open visa to Denmark in a quick way during 10-14 working days. It gives a possibility for a person to stay in Denmark during 3 month and it cost 300 $.

Sir, the price of visa includes the next options which our agency arrange for applying on visa:
- translation of the documents ( 63 dollars);
- embassy fees( 35 euros- 37 dollars);
- travel agency fess ( 50 dollars);
- Medical insurance, this is obligatory request of the embassy, a person must have medical insurance for covering medical expenses during his staying on the territory of Denmark in case she got ill or will need other medical treatment. Sir, we make medical insurances for our clients which will cover medical expenses on the sum of 50 000 euros ( medical insurance cost 150 dollars).

Sir, if your Lady starts organizing documents with the help of our agency, she won't need to go to the embassy for making visa application and visiting them for providing with any further documentation as our agency will care about everything. She has to come to us and fill in all the necessary forms here and then we will inform her about the day of interview when she can go to Kiev and receive her visa.
Sir, we work directly with people in a private order in the embassy which is located in Kiev and this give us a possibility to organize visas for our clients quickly and without any difficulties! That's why we give you 100 % guarantee that if you choose our services a person will receive visa maximum in 14 days.

3) Round-way tickets.

The round-way tickets from Kiev Borispol airport to Billund airport will cost around 165 US dollars.
Sir, also for our clients who make documents with the help of our agency we always make a 10% discount on the tickets.

Feel free to ask any other questions.
Best regards, manager of "Avgust" travel agency,
Ekaterina

Um, what?? The whole point of new biometric passports is that they allow Ukrainians to travel to EU without having to obtain a visa at a consulate. You can have an older type passport (provided it's still valid) but then you do need to get a visa.

BTW, here's a note exactly about that on the Danish Embassy web site:

http://ukraine.um.dk/en/News/newsdisplaypage/?newsID=18983E1D-153E-4EB8-B74A-8AB092623384

There's an official way to get a Danish tourist visa in 3 days for twice the cost and obviously it's never guaranteed.
