Info Pass Apt in Cd Juarez

My husband has his 1st apt in Cd. Juarez on May 4th (a friday) I looked on line about making an info pass apt for the next available day after his apt for the new pilot program, but it would only show 30 days out into the future, but it looked like they only took those kind of apts on Mondays and Fridays, is that correct? Also I'm going with my hubby for his apt and then flying back asap to return to work, should I stay until his info pass apt, is that something I should be there for, or should I return home? Please help, if anyone has any info on Cd Juarez, motels we can stay at any advice they can offer please let me know. We have a lawyer to help with the paperwork but the actual logistics of staying in Cd Juarez she does not have any info or help on. Please help!

My husband also has his appt. in May and I want to inquire about the Infopass appt. for Cuidad Juarez but I do not know what website to go to. Do I go to their website for Cuidad Juarez or is it USCIS.gov. Please help. The place I used to inquire about hotels in Juarez was Orbitz.com. Regarding your question on staying with your husband for the infopass appt. I do not know but I am going to stay for both interviews.

You are supposed to make the appointment for 2-3 days after the waiver interview. Since spouses are not allowed in the consulate, there is no reason to stay aside from moral support.

It seems most people stay at the Holiday Inn Lincoln because it's very conveniently located and has free internet access. There are plenty of other places where you can stay without making a reservation in advance, but normally with the Holiday Inn the best rate is on their website in advance.

* When a consular officer makes a determination of inadmissibility at the time of the immigrant visa interview and a waiver application may be submitted under 8 CFR 212.7, the applicant will be given a USCIS waiver letter, which indicates that the applicant may go on-line via INFOPASS to make an appointment to come back to the Consulate in Cd. Juarez to submit an I-601 or I-212, as applicable, with a fully documented waiver packet.

* These INFOPASS appointments may be scheduled prior to the immigrant visa interview, but they must NOT be made for the day of the immigrant visa interview. For those with waiver packets fully documented and ready for adjudication, the earliest such a waiver review appointment should be made is a day after the immigrant visa interview. A better approach may be to wait at least two days to make sure that the fingerprints taken on the date of the immigrant visa interview have cleared.

* In order to set up this process, Mr. Janssen had to find staff to be able to do fingerprint intake on the date of the immigrant visa interview as well as to accept the G-325.

* When the waiver applicant comes back to the consulate with the COMPLETE and FULLY DOCUMENTED waiver application, a USCIS employee will review the packet (not interview the applicant), and if the case is a clean one and clearly approvable, the waiver application may be approved that day. Then, the Consulate will either approve the immigrant visa that day or within the next one to two days.

* If the submitted packet is not clearly approvable, then the application will go into the regular processing waiting line (10 TO 11 months) and the applicant will be instructed to provide additional supporting documentation to USCIS. Thus, using this process, the applicant will get a second chance for review versus exposure to a denial at the time of the first review.

I've spent time in Juarez recently for the K1 visa & 601 application. Have appt from Infopass for next week. I hope they like the evidence and all so my fiancee can enter and marry me!

I'd like to give a big shout out to a nice hotel, not far from the embassy (perhaps 10-15 min walk). It's called Hotel Paseo de la Triunfa, on the street Paseo de la Triunfa. Look it up on the web. It's a very cool place, much better than the Holiday Inn Lincoln (been there), also has free internet, and is much newer, nicer, cleaner, less expensive, etc.

I don't think you need to be there for the appt set up through Infopass. I'll ask my lawyer but I really doubt it. Most of the time they don't want the US citizen spouse going into the Consulate, not sure why, probably just less time-consuming/risky for the officers.

You can set up the infopass appointment online at the address posted above. At the consulate they help people do it if it's needed. They don't let spouses into the consulate for space reasons, I assume.

Meanwhile I would like to give kudos to a hotel that is 10 minutes walk from the Consulate - The Hotel Suites El Paseo is at Paseo Triunfo De La Republica no 4850, tel 656-611-5000. The place is clean, has a self'serve laundramat, FREE INTERNET, very comfortable beds and excellent pillows (this is big for me), hot water without having to ask, great TV station selection, and is a wonderfully decorated hotel with perhaps 8 separate buildigs that are all connected by plazas and wide passageways that resemble Mexican streets, tiled and mosaic-ed very beautifully. Double is $56 a night. They also have lock boxes in your room, secure parking for a charge, and good cleaning service.

My fiancee's appointment is Friday, however we're not sure if we should get a round-trip ticket for her to leave Friday evening, or whether we should just get a 1-way ticket for her and expect to wait around all weekend for results the following Monday or thereabouts?

I think it's up to the applicant if they want to plan to stay but I also think they will give an answer right away. So you may want to plan on leaving Friday night and you can usually change the ticket for a change fee. (I think that's what I would do).
