Incomplete documents for K1 Visa mailed to the embassy

Hello everyone,

me and my fiancé have gotten pretty far into the K1 process. Now i mailed back the package 3 (DS-160, police record, ...) to the embassy. Unfortunately I was a little bit to quick so I forgot to put in my confirmation of the fee payment so i have to send it separately referring to my case number. Now I'm afraid that this could result in a bigger delay.

Does anyone here have experience with incomplete Documents? Is the embassy able to add the document to my file and to continue processing without me asking again?

Thanks for your answers.

I doubt that it will be a problem. I purposefully sent the package 3 incomplete (we hadn't done the medical appt yet but I didn't want to wait!) and the embassy still scheduled the interview. In the interview confirmation email they also tell you the papers you're missig or papers that you've sent that are incorrect. They told me to bring the missing documents directly to the interview.

At at least that was my experience in Argentina.
