Hi everyone I'm here because I need help. I got deferred action for childhood arrivals back in 2012 & let it expire. SO I had a social security card and ead card. Then later on I lost both cards because my wallet was lost. So fast forward to now. I got married 2 years ago & filed for i485, i765, i130 in December 2016. So now today I'm expecting my ead card in the mail (YAYYYY!!!). Now I need to get a replacement social security card so that I can go get my learners permit license. I have an expired foreign passport as my only ID, can I just use my ead document & birth certificate & letters from immigration to get a replacement social security card?????? Please someone help me!!

just tell them you lost it and they will replace it. I believe everyone can get 10 replacement cards in thier lifetime. was bored at the ss office and read something like that.

also never carry your ssn card in your wallet.

good luck
