my ghaaawd! seems like everyday, I get problems about our packet. :(( Too late for me to edit this one.. So here's what happened.. On our g325a, my fiance wrote the PARENT COMPANY'S name on the name of the employer.. But the thing is, he's working at different company name, like a branch of that parent company  :(( So what he did wrong is that, he wrote the Company's address on our g325a where he's really working.. he could have written that parent company and wrote the address of the parent company, OR he could have just written the name of the compny where he's really working at and not the parent company :((  This is a huge problem.. if you search for that company's name on google, different address will come out :(( Geeeez! This is a huge problem.. is it going to be the reason why our papers will get denied? Or can they reconsider it? At least on the company's website, there's the address he inserted on our g325a, but ony in different name.. i'm so sorry  :(( Just very confused right now.. I didn't check it before because I trusted him that he knows what he's doing since it's him who's working in there..

You're over thinking things.  You will be fine.  Giant companies like Microsoft and Amazon here in Seattle have several different mailing addresses because their campuses are so huge.  For your fiance to put his company's main address vs. his actual in-office branch address is not an adjudicator's or consular officer's major concern.

They are more concerned with your fiance's finances recorded on the I-134 affidavit of support and supporting documents: W2's, tax transcripts, pay stubs, bank statements, etc.

So relax, you will be fine.

I was just like you in the beginning of this K1 Visa process, as I'm a Type "A" personality person that likes to be in control of things.  The reality, now that the petition is sent, you really have no control of the situation.  All you can do now is be patient and wait.  If you do receive a RFE, its not the end of the world.  Many thousands of couples receive RFE's on their petitions and have gotten their Visas.

Wondering if you wrote the right address, checked the correct box, or labelled the packet correctly will only drive you crazy and put you in a state of worry and blame.  As your last sentence in your initial post said: "I trusted him that he knows what he is doing".  You already blame him for a mistake that the USCIS hasn't even stated is a mistake.

Honestly, if you and your fiance are in a genuine relationship, have nothing to hide, and meet all the criteria - you will be fine.

Good luck, don't worry so much.

If you are afraid that you might get a RFE and experience delay, then you guys start preparing a new G-325A now and as soon as the RFE comes, you can send it out. However, the mismatched name and address of the employer shouldn't be much of an issue.

When my fiance and I were going through the G-325A, we both agreed that we will use the name of the company where his pays are drawn even though the company that pays him is just a subsidiary and not the parent company. Besides, that's what's shown on all his paystubs anyways.

So yeah, take a deep breath and relax. Focus on the subsequent stuff that you guys need to prepare for the K-1 stage and make sure you go through every paperwork together this time ;)

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

Thank you. :(( We already talked and I told him it's okay.. He explained it to me and I was worrying for nothing.. Thank God.. Now my only concern is about my medical. He told me we should just assume that I'm going to have a delays.. But I gotta work on it so that it will be a successful medical. :)) Thaaaank you so much! I feel so much better. You're right, if we're in a genuine relationship, we'll be fine. 😊
