Yes, you just call the 1-800 number provide your I-130 Case #, listen to the electronic message that adds no value and then press the button (don't remember which one) that say that you have question about your petition. They will repeat to you that this is the most up to date info they have and you can still ask to speak to someone. Once you get someone on the phone, tell them that your case is beyond the normal processing time and you would to get an update.

Keep in mind that only the petitioner, applicant, or power of attorney can open a case.

Thank you for the information. One more question, after your mother-in-law did finger print, did you hear anything from the center? any status updates on the USCIS website?  I check the status almost everyday, nothing updated.

Okay, it looks that we have to wait for a while. You are very nice and helpful.

Thank you, have a good day.

Glad I was able to help. I know how frustrating it can be to wait with this level of uncertainty.

Once again, best of luck.

Hi Everyone! I have a question for those who are done with NVC.

Do we now gather all the legal documents of our beneficiary and financial documents and send at the same time once we are paid?

I asked because during my time 6 years ago my husband sent his financial docs separately and when they instructed us to send my legal documents that was the time I sent it to NVC.

Just want to make sure so I can prepare ahead of time and ask my parents to send their legal documents to me while waiting for visa payments.

Thank you!

I guess is taking a little longer for the NVC to enter the info into there system.  They told me to call in about 2 weeks but that they have up to 6 weeks so let see what happens :(.

Hi ! Looks like everyone is on different levels with their case. Soon will be a year since we all applied.

I received a ‘missing item’ email from NVC. One signature is missing on Affidavit of support. Do I have to send the whole thing again or just the page with the signature?

in email it states : Correct following item Part 5 Item 31.a
