Correct you do not need to apply for police clearance since you do not live in Kuwait. My wife also lived in mindanao and we spent a lot of extra money flying her to a Manila and staying in a hotel. In the end it was not necessary.

I got a police clearance from Kuwait we requested it in Kuwait embassy Manila and it takes 5months before I recieved it. Now it’s already expired because it’s only valid for three months my question is is that ok to bring it to the interview or I need to request new one? I’m still waiting for our NOA2 October filer here

Wow you are a lucky one. My understanding is less than 15% actually get it when requested. 1 year and 2 monthd later and my wife never heard anything back. That being said no you dont need to request a new one. Police clearance from Kuwait is not required so you are safe. I would still bring it with you to the interview, the more documentition you have the better.

Its been a while since my wife got here so i can only tell you what was true in 2017. Unless you are currently living in Kuwait you do not need a police clearance. When my wife went in for her interview she told them that Police clearance was not required from Kuwait. They checked on the computer and confirmed that it was not required. Again this was 2017 and I am not sure if anything has changed.

Stop worrying,  your not going to need.   Requirement will be waived.

Official word. CO at USEM know that they are not available if you are not living in Kuwait. There is NO REQUIREMENT to produce on for your interview!

Registration Criteria: Available only to applicants residing in Kuwait.  A police clearance certificate is required for U.S. immigrant visa applicants age 18 and over who are currently residing in Kuwait for 6 months or more. This is not available for former residents of Kuwait.
