hello, asking this for a friend. We pretty much have same situation it's just that mine has been 10 days and we haven't got noa 1, but with her it's already 2 weeks + days. So she wanted to ask if it's okay to re send another packet containing all forms and documents needed for noa1. She is thinking to send a money order too instead of check. Can anyone help out with this.

Sometimes it just takes a while... uscis tells you to wait 30 days b4 taking action... did she not have tracking?

There was a VJ member here recently who posted curiously wondering why he hadn't received his NOA1 after 7 days.

He then posted again nervously wondering why he hadn't received his NOA1 after 10 days.

He then posted again frantically wondering why he hadn't received his NOA1 after 14 days.

He then posted again enraged wondering why he hadn't received his NOA 1 after 21 days.

He finally posted again happily saying he received his NOA1 after 22 days.

My point, you have to have patience during this process.  Don't over think things.  Worrying and comparing your case to other's won't make the process go by any faster.

If the mailing confirmation says delivered and the check has been cashed, then its there.  Give it time and you'll be fine.

Give it time.  If the package shows delivered, but, the check hasn't been cashed by week 4 - I'd make an inquiry and give a call to the USCIS.  Their (800) number is on the bottom of their website: https://www.uscis.gov

I'm sure it will be fine.  But good luck!

No don't send a new one, not good to have two i-129f petitions pending at the same time. Did you put the g-1145 in the packet you sent? If not, it will take longer to receive the NOA1 since you have to wait for the hardcopy.

There's no need to worry before 30 days have passed. In that time you will either have received your NOA1 or your package back if it was rejected. If none of that, you just call USCIS and ask.

Yep we did put the g-1145. So 30th day would be april 28. Maybe if we haven't got anything after that then we could call USCIS. Thank you.

We hd the same situation. :)) Didn't get an update until I asked my fiancé to check his mailbox.. we sent our packet 3/11, it says it was delivered 3/14.. we waited until 3/29.. we never got a notification even if we attached the g1145. My fiancé checked his mailbox and the hardcopy of our NOA1 was there. :))
