My spouse's case for CR1 visa shows READY on CEAC. This case was expedited through NVC and skipped NVC processing.

I was told my NVC the US Embassy in Mumbai India received the file and will do everything else going forward. NVC also told me the Embassy will schedule the interview.

I contacted the NVC in New Hampshire and the US Embassy in Mumbai,India multiple times. Each and every single time the NVC tells me to contact the Embassy regarding this situation. The Embassy tells me to contact the NVC regarding this situation. I'm actually about to punch a wall right now.

Anyways, because they are playing games I went ahead and manually scheduled the interview via UStraveldocs.com/in

I'm assuming I am the one who is supposed to schedule the interview anyways (based on other expedited threads i read) - IS THIS TRUE? Am I wrong for making the appointment myself?

Will the medical center accept the Appoint Confirmation Page I was emailed from the automated system?
