Hello all, I am new so my apologies if this thread is supposed to be in a different forum.

I applied for AOS and EAD under category C9. My question is what happens after my EAD biometrics.

Here is my timeline:

March 4, 2017-shipped out documents through USPS 2-day priority

March 7, 2017-delivered

March 15, 2017-text and email notification, my case was received/accepted

March 23, 2017-I797C Notice of Action received in mail

March 31, 2017-received biometrics appointment for April 11 at 11am (on paper it says NBC service center, if this info helps)

April 3-went to my support center to ask questions but was allowed to do my biometrics early.

Will I be getting my card and/or approval soon? Which one will come first? Is there also a possibility of getting EAD declined? I know that they may request for evidence as well.

But am I in greenlight for my EAD? From the information that I've provided.

My apologies for all these questions, I am very new to this and it has been stressing and worrying me :( thank you all in advance.

Employment authorization document can take a while to get approved. 90 days is the goal but it could be longer, could be shorter. They may request evidence yes but that barely happens.
Adjusting from any kind of visa can take up to a year.

Okay. What happens after biometrics? Will I be receiving an approval notice or my actual card? Thanks.

As of right now it can take anywhere between 90 to 120 days from your NOA1 date until you receive your EAD and between 7 to 10 months or longer for you to receive your Green Card.

You might get your EAD in June or July.

Biometrics is nothing more than USCIS receiving your fingerprints and photo they use for your work permit and green card. After biometrics, the waiting game starts.

I see, so it may be awhile (or maybe hopefully not) before I receive an approval? (If that is what I receive first)

They will let you know if your EAD is approved and that they will send you the card in the mail. But for now you have to wait.
