Hi, I got my k1 visa approved two weeks ago. (A white letter stating congratulations) Initially, after my interview, the ceac status was in "AP". However, after a few days, once I put in my case number to the website, the website shows " your search did not return any data". I tracked my passport, and it's still with the embassy. I emailed the embassy about this, they only replied with" your case is under review, we will contact you if any more information is needed".

what does this mean?????

this brings me and my fiancé lots of anxieties. Hope someone can shed some light onto this matter. Thanks!!

It's probably just like they said, your case is still under review (AP). All you can do is wait for an approval/denial. Some people are stuck in AP for months, some only for a few hours. No one here can tell you how long you have to wait.

They might have more things to look into before they can issue your visa. Just because you pass the interview doesn't always mean that you will get your visa immediately, they might even find something after the interview that they want to investigate. It could be anything really. All you can do is wait at this point, it's all in their hands.

A lot of us get put in this same category (10 weeks now for me!) also causing anxiety. You can try emailing the consulate though you might just get a generic response. I think it's good they kept your passport though, more optimistic.
