Hello, 

 

I was just reviewing everything on the I-129F package, which has already been filed, and noticed a typo on one of the dates listed. 

 

Since I would like to try to avoid getting an RFE for this, should I call USCIS and inform them of the mistake? Or what would the best course of action be in this case?

We had several date typos we didn't notice until it was very late, NVC-stage late. No rfe's :)

K-1:
06/08/2016: I-129F Sent

06/16/2016: Check cashed

08/23/2016: Approval

09/09/2016: At the Stockholm Embassy

09/28/2016: Embassy received completed medical

09/29/2016: Interview date, APPROVAL 

10/14/2016: Visa ISSUED

10/17/2016: Visa received

 

AOS
12/22/2016: I-485, I-131, I-765 Sent

01/10/2017: Check cashed

02/03/2017: Biometrics completed

04/17/2017: Your case is ready to be scheduled for an interview

01/20/2018: I-485 Interview letter received

02/01/2018: I-485 Interview, APPROVAL

It likely won't be an issue. Calling them likely won't do anything as they will not accept additional evidence for an I-129F while at USCIS unless an RFE is issued.

Hello everyone!

 

I am the beneficiary and I made a huge mistake on my fiance's SSN on the I129F form and didn't noticed it until this last weekend when I decided to scan all the papers that I might need to prepare for the interview process but we already got the NOA2, APPROVED! I had been trying to read posts with the similar error that we had but I can't find one yet. We didn't received any RFE's as well. Now I'm a bit anxious and I'm not sure if I need to call NVC about this mistake or they just assumed that it was a typo error and just followed the SSN on his W2 attached along with our packet.

To help ease your mind.  After submitting our I-129F, I also reread our application, and noticed several minor typos and misspellings as well.

We received no RFE's and our Visa is in hand. 

Unless you made a huge erroneous error, you will be fine.
