Hi,

 

My AOS application is dated February 10, 2016, and according to USCIS processing times the Houston office was processing dates as late as February 23, 2016 on January 31, 2017. Given that today is April 5, 2017 and my case status still reads "On February 10, 2016, we accepted the fingerprint fee for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status", I am starting to get really worried!

 

My AP is about to expire and I have travel planned for June, so I went ahead and applied for a new one. My concern is that something is wrong with my application. I've tried calling Tier 2, no luck. I was told I would be called back in 5 days and it never happened. I opened two service requests and also no response. I've tried getting an InfoPass appointment for 2 months now and every single day it says "No appointments available, try again tomorrow"

 

So, should I be worried? It is normal to be stuck in this status? I know Texas is delayed, but my date is earlier than current processing dates!

Also call before 11 am for a better chance to talk to a tier 2.
