This is my Cover page I like to confirm I send everything they need ,

I am applying under 5 year rule I been a resident since 2008,so am I correct I dont need passport photos ?

and is 3 year tax transcript enough or do I need to send 5 years ?

also I dont remember the USCIS Log in username , e mail and password can I just create a new account for this process ?

         2) 2014, 2015 and 2016 Tax Transcripts showing Joint Married Filing
         3) Joint bank account statements spanning from  2011 to 2017
          (samples—not every statement—Supplement to bank account statements 
         4) Joint investment statement 
         5) Most recent mortgage/home equity line of credit statement
           showing joint ownership of our House 
         6) Utility Bills ( Electric , Water, Gas, Property Taxes, spanning from  2011 to 2017  showing both our names)
         7) Credit card Statements

I did mine more as a letter addressed to a person -

 

Dear Sir / Madam ,

 

Please find enclosed the Application for Naturalization Form N-400 for First Name Last Name ,  A# xxxxx , Resident since xx xx xxxx.

Enclosed please find in order of attachment :

Did not include photos although I will bring them to the interview.

Did not include Tax Transcripts - Will bring to interview.

Did not send Passport copy - sent copy of Driver's License - Optional

Sent copy of my divorce decree from prior spouse - Mandatory

Sent copy of my current marriage certificate - Optional , could have brought to the interview.

 

If you are applying after 5 years of being a resident yourself, you can take out the evidence related to your husband , except for any divorce decrees on your part.

 

All you need to prove is you have been a permanent continuous resident for 5 years.

 

You can do that by following their instructions closely - All you really need is

-  GC copy front back ,

- Payment form for & $725,

- Signed N-400 and

- Proof of earlier marriages ended ( if you are the one that had been married and got divorced before meeting your spouse)

 

Also, you can check the Been a Legal Resident for 5 years box.

 

I would not send more info than necessary to show your eligibility based on your 5 years permanent residency.

 

Keep the file clean and simple and easy to review.

The original package makes a good point - I didn't think of that .

It can't hurt to put "ORIGINAL N-400" on the outer mailing-envelope, too, to help the mailroom people.
