Good morning. My name is Tara Azadikhah, i have applied for K1 visa for my fiancé! He had his interview at January 4th in Ankara . He has been told that he need to send some documents and he has to wait for an Email to send in the document. We have been checking his case status in this website and is saying that his case is going under NECESSARY ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING, and know the case status is , processing pending, it gets updated every other day in the embassy Website! I was wondering what we should do to make it done faster and what is this update means !?

Thank you

Admin Processing cannot be expedited or influenced. That being, while Iranian nationals aren't barred from US visas, they're likely being scrutinized as part of Trump's not-in-effect travel ban. Try to contact Sen Kaine's or Sen Warner's offices if in Virginia.

Thank you so much for the information KierenHby ! Another question does the website update has anything to do with case being active or not ? Thank you again

Possibly, but there is no sure way to know.  That's the drawback of being on AP.

Good morning this is tara
My fiancé had his interview on January 4th at Turkey embassy. He was given a Whit paper and they told him that it is going to take about two months to finish the Administrative processing! I have contacted the embassy recently and they told me because of high demand it may take 4 to 6 months or sometime longer ! I am really worry and concerned about this situation! i have read it online that sometimes it may take months or years to process to be done or clear ! Will our case gets expire too !? If yes what should we do and i check the Embassys Website every day and it does get updated it every other day , what does that mean !? He is from Iran by the way

Thank you .

If it's going through administrative processing, you guys should be fine. It's normal and we've seen cases in the last of couples waiting months after the interview for administrative processing to be completed before being issued the visa. The travel ban has technically been "banned".

I'm not sure what the white page means but they gave us blue paper (221g) and even though we had sent the additional documents after few months reviewing the CO rejected our case, unfortunately, the politics affecting the cases which it's not right. but I think as long as your case is under review by CO it won't expire?

Hello everyone, i have a question regarding a administrative processing! After our interview in Ankara turkey our case went through administrative processing, it has been 4 months and 10 days since than ! I Emiled them recently and they replied back to me like this ( According to our records your administrative processing is still ongoing. After it is completed, we will contact you through your email address. At that time if your medical report expires, you will need to provide a  new one. But please note that we don't have any control over your administrative processing, therefore we cannot estimate how long it may take. When you receive our email, you may send your documents along with your passport and new medical report (if required), you don't need another interview to provide them, unless you receive an appointment letter for a new interview. If everything is in order, your visa packet will be prepared and sent to PTT office which you registered for. ) i was wondering if anyone has gone through same thing or is anyone familiar with this situation! I really do appreciate any advice or help. Thanks again
