Hello all,

 

I am new here and have so appreciated reading through some of your stories through this visa process! I am British and my husband is American and we live in England. We have decided to move back to the US and so we have stared the paperwork just recently. We filed our I-130 a few days ago. I was just curious to know how long people people have been waiting for their NOA1 and NOA2, just to get some guidelines on what the next few months are going to look like for us.

Hiya! My husband and I are in the same process!

 

I'm a US citizen and moved here 10 yrs ago to be with him.. the process to get my indefinite leave to remain was a lot easier!!! 

 

We applied on March 30 and had email notice on the 3rd along with a note that they would try to expedite our application. currently the website shows that they are processing applications from 2 months ago...

Thank you so much for your response. It's nice to "meet" someone who is roughly in the same timeline as us! We applied on April 1st, so hoping to get our NOA1 soon. Good to hear yours only took a couple of days. Quick question: how come they are expediting your application? Did you request that or do you have outstanding circumstances that means that they will process things faster for you?
