Hi there!!

I am curious if anyone here has had experience with DCF in Frankfurt where the interview and medical exam were scheduled on the same day? We spoke with the doctors office in Frankfurt and they said it would be fine as long as the interview was scheduled first thing in the morning since they are only open till 11:15.

The reason we are doing it this way is because we are at least 3 hours away from the closest consulate approved panel physician, the interview appointment calendar only lets us schedule up until the 26th, and no doctors office has any openings next week which would be 2 weeks before the 26th. So we figured we might as well kill 2 birds with one stone. On the Frankfurt consulate page here on VisaJourney, it says that it is acceptable and if the doctors office says it is alright as well, then I would like to believe it is since they have a working relationship with the consulate.

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance!!

Hey,

I had my interview at the embassy in Frankfurt too.

I live 2 hours away (took the train). So what I did was, I arrived in Frankfurt on Monday, had my medical done on Tuesday, explored the city on Wednesday and the interview was on the Friday. But what can or will happen is that since my inteview was two days after the medical, the embassy had to wait for the medical results to come in, which means that they told me that they can't make a decision because of the missing documents. I had the visa in the mail on New Year's Eve.

But there were many people sitting at  the doctor's office who had their interview on the same day. The doctor opens at 7.30am, so make sure you will be there around 7.15am. I was the third and I was done around 9.40am.
