(husband is on a tourist visa, no chance of approval without an interview).

Where did you get that information ?

Well, if you want to hold out hope, you can for no interview. But if you go look at the CSC transferee thread, it's almost exclusively K1 adjusters. This bulletin (from 2005 but probably still valid) (here), details some of the logic in transferring to CSC. CSC is the office that is most notorious (and I don't know if I've heard of any outside of CSC) for giving green cards sans interview.

With my husband being from South America, I knew there was no way I was going to get through this without an interview. South America is high fraud (Argentina had VWP taken away because of that, I believe), which is why it's so hard to get a tourist visa from countries like Peru, Argentina, Colombia in the first place.

So while it may be possible to get adjucated from a tourist visa without an interview, I wouldn't hold my breath. The chances, from my experiences on visajourney and in my day to day interactions at work, school, etc. are that most tourist, student, VWP, etc adjusters do have an interview. Which isn't really a big deal...I'd rather they conduct interviews instead of letting fraudalent marriages or people who committed visa fraud go by undetected and unpunished.

I have Doctor appointment for my wife and we will get it then. Thanks......

With a Civil Surgeon?

Is that required, All she needed was the one shot that they couldn't do in the Philippines?

You need to get the Vaccination Supplement (I-693a Vaccination Supplemental Form) filled in by a Civil Surgeon.

Ok I agree we just got back from the doctor and they will sign 693 for us tomorrow

Thanks Sheriff Uling YOU ARE THE BEST!

I agree and I am aware of that. I just thought that maybe you had read somewhere about this. Because I know people who were approved without an interview adjusting from B2, F1, etc..

We are not expecting it, but we are hoping for it. Who isn't ?

I haven't personally known anyone on those types of nonimmigrant visas who got by without an interview... it IS very rare to get adjucated from a B2, F1, etc without an interview...I didn't want to waste my time hoping for it, which is good - interview is in 2 weeks.

I believe the whole "no interview" thing is overrated anyway - it doesn't do all that much to speed up the process at times, people can wait months before transferring to CSC...in our case our interview came quickly, so it is what it is.

I had read somewhere that tourist visa, etc adjusters forgo the chance of a CSC transfer, but it was on here without any linkage to back it up - as it is, tourist, student adjusters have a lot more reason for an interview.

As far as the vaccination supplement - that is the paper that the medical doctor gave my fiance at his medical exam last month, correct? He is up to date on all of his vaccines.
