I remember a few weeks ago, when the MDl called trump a loon for suggesting he was spied upon.

The way things stand right now, what Rice unambiguously did regarding spying seems to stand right on the edge of what's legal until some other allegations (passing info to the media) are proven true.

 

Nonetheless, its pretty screwed up how the Obama admin gladly uses it's power to attack political opponents.

So yes while fine we can investigate both, to say they are equal is absolutely a joke.

What is interesting is those allegations are gaining much more substance than anything regarding the Russians meddling in the election.

It must not be much or it would have already been leaked.  Even Rep. Schiff has been pretty quiet after seeing the evidence, and I notice there hasn't been a peep from former President Obama or his spokespeople.  However, I agree, we need to find out at what depths the last Administration went to dig up dirt.  If this was former President Bush during President-elect Obama's transition there would have been a loud outcry from the MDL.

Don't fall for liberal terms.. "meddling" is their attempt to pull back from the long standing accusation about Russia "hacking" the elections and reframe the debate in far more ambiguous terms in order to claim victory with stupid conspiracy theories they can't prove. The left have already been completely silent for months about the "Russian" power grid hacks they were so fervent about. Now they're just flailing at anything, grasping at any straw, to justify refusal to join us in the sane world, where Trump was elected by a pretty decent electoral margin, and liberals alienated a ton of moderate and independent voters (or in libspeak: racists) who voted for Obama in 2008 and 2012, and they wound up voting for Trump, especially in the rust belt states. I think most of all it's hilarious seeing him try and jump on the "Russia! Russia! Russia!" bandwagon knowing full well why Dems lost.

I agree.  It is funny how the narrative has gone from the Russians hacking the DNC, to them hacking the election, to Trump in collusion with them, to now just meddling.  None of them have had any substance except for maybe the DNC hack, and that still isn't proven as it could have been done by just about any intelligence agency and made to look like the Russians did it.  However, I wouldn't put it past any intelligence agency, including the Russians, to go after the DNC to get whatever they could regarding Hillary, up until Election Day she was supposed to win hands down.

Russians are just really good.. they left not only no evidence of their hacking anything, they controlled the minds of millions of Americans in the rust belt states! 

 

We must ignore all that talk about Michael Moore begging Democrats to get back to campaigning in the rust belt states in October and November, after Dems ignored those states post-convention thinking they had the blue wall in the bag, and Obama's last ditch efforts in those states to save face. Clearly the Russians just hacked the election.

We will know once we know why some of the names were unmasked. What flagged them to request the unmasking? What was said? Considering the sinking ship the current administration has turned into, there may be some interesting indicators.

thats not why they were calling him a loon, there was plenty of corroborative information to come to that conclusion...just read his other twitter feeds

Here is what I do know

There are Two (Senate and FBI) and 1/4 ( the house) investigations into Russia interfering with our government. 

We wont know what the truth is until the investigation runs it course.  That includes any illegality on the part of the Obama administration.

 

It is absurd for some folks to call for the stopping of investigations ( first of all good luck stopping the FBI) on the parts that incriminate their chosen candidate or party as a waste of time and money, and yet want to continue the investigation on the parts that make their party look like a victim.  

 

The American people will get the whole truth ( unless this is tied to Aliens)
