Expediting process ??

Hi everyone :)

does anyone have experience with expediting process ? I filed an expediting request for my I-765 on march 21, due to a pending job offer . Two days later I received an email saying they need proof for that so last Wednesday (march 29) I faxed the letter from my job to the uscis. Since then I haven't heard back anything. I called uscis and talked to tier 2 and they said there is no update yet, they just see that the email with the proof request was sent to me but not treat they received my fax. The fax definitely did Go through, I have the confirmation.

Anyone knows how long it usually takes until they make a decision about the expediting once the proof was submitted ? And also if they approve it, how much longer until I have my EAD?

Any answers would be appreciated

thank you :D

the wording of the letter is important.

did they just ask you for proof of legal status to work? this van just be the normal course of evaluating people.

or did they say they will offer you a job if you can prove you are allowed to work. meaning they have chosen you and just need to make sure you can work.

good luck

No they just said they would like me to offer this job and want me to start as soon as possible

I'm just wondering how long uscis takes to make a decision if they grant expediting or not and how long after that they send me the ead card

Unless I'm misreading it, there is some confusion here I think.  You are talking about her offer letter wording.  But the employer is not asking for proof.  Immigration is asking for proof.

No the employer is not

but uscis was asking for pending job offer, that's why I sent them a letter from the employer saying they offer me a job :)

but since I've faxed it to uscis I haven't heard back and I was wondering how long they take to grant or deny a request for expediting

it varies but your terminology is correct so I would assume they would grant it.

That's what I hope but I'm just wondering how long it usually takes to get a decision from uscis

I was making sure the offer was contingent upon him proving employment rather than the company sending a generic letter to all people they interviewed to make sure they could work.
